The research activity of the Digital Electronic Systems group revolves around the communicating, secured, embedded electronic systems. It consists in two main axes:
- The Electronic Architecture of embedded systems in order to integrate efficiently a complex algorithm into a single chip or board.
- The Hardware Security to protect the cryptographic chips against "side channels" attacks (attacks taking advantage of chip activity analysis or fault injection).
